Bathroom Bliss!

I am thrilled to have a new bathroom today! Yes, it is closed by a curtain, part of my mudroom but it is...believe it or not better than the old one! The old bathroom will now begin a complete renovation beginning with the floor that is ready to fall in. It will be done in steps.. Lord willing and as finances are available. The whole thing should be pretty much done by the time our new baby girl arrives! Here are a few pictures showing before and after and our yucky old bathroom that will be looking much better this spring! Really this project is a neccessity with 5 kids we needed a second and the bathroom we had needed so much help we had to do something so we could really get in there and work on it. Thank you God for the blessing of our friends Tim and Rob who have and will be helping us!!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!

We had an ultrasound and the technician was sure that baby barkey is a girl! We are sooooo excited! We finally started making room for her now that she seems like more of a reality. The crib and bassinet are still good and we don't really need much. I hope to make cloth diapers, a curtain, and a quilt. I've made baby quilts for all the kids so it is a must. Kailey helped pick out a great cribset that we got for a great deal. I paid 24.99 at Gabriels and we found it on ebay from $85-$159. We also found a cute mobile for $5.99 that we found online for $20. So we're feeling good about our purchases! Right now we're saving money for some home repair and bathroom stuff! With 5 kids we need to be ready! I'll post pictures later.
