How things change in a year!

Wow! I guess it has been about a year since I posted last! My how things have changed! I pray the Lord will help me find joy each day as I prepare my children for adulthood. It has been a rough year. My grandfather Gus went home to be with the Lord, my father, and my other grandparents Gladys and Clarence. Wil's gradmother Osie also went to heaven. What wonderful memories we have of all who are now with our Savior. The impact of losing loved ones was more than expected. Wil's parents and brother Cheech are now looking for a new home and my family has suffered greatly in misunderstandings to the point we are not able to gather at this time. It is a sad reality and I have been fighting depression the last 6 months. As the sun has come with summer weather it is hard to swallow that we won't be sharing good times with our family. Truly, one doesn't know what he has until it is gone.
Wil is still working at Washington Chevrolet. Interestingly, he sells more used cars of all makes and models than new Chevy's. He works hard. He works long hours. We are all proud of him.
Morgan has grown taller than Wil and I. He ran track this spring and really enjoyed it. He ran hurdles and long distance. He has deepend his love of music and computers. He'll be in the 10th grade next fall. He was given the choice to go to public school next year and has chosen to continue homeschooling.
Nathan is growing quickly too. He has realized his true love for animals and reminds me of his grandma. He is a quiet kid who is usually very sweet and helpful. He has proven to be the perfect age to help with Elianna and they've formed quite a bond. He and Morgan have begun mowing the lawn this spring taking quite a load of Wil and I! He'll be in the 5th grade.
Kailey is our little acrobat! If you don't watch out you may get in the way of her flipping and hand stands. She is teaching Elianna to be quite the girly girl while keeping up with the boys! She is an avid reader and I expect her to fly through the 3rd grade.
Ben just turned 6! We had a great party at Krispy Kreme donuts with over 20 kids! Ben is very happy go lucky a great deal of the time. He just had his kindergarten graduation and we are so very proud of our little man. He keeps up pretty well when I teach the kids in a group. Although, Nathan favors math, and Kailey favors English, we haven't figured out what Ben favors...he does well at all but says he really enjoys Science best.
Elianna, our little princess, she just spent half the day playing with little dolls and furniture in the doll house. She just turned 2. She definitely has attitude. We are busy making sure it is a positive one. She is very curious yet cautious especially of strangers. She does well playing with all of the kids and takes her naps perfectly on time nearly every day. I'm so thankful because I need those breaks.
I am still in the Air Guard. Just a few more years.... I'm still as busy as usual trying to do it all. Not to keep up with anyone but it is just in my genes to be always busy learning and trying new things. Because of that, homeschooling works well for me. As we are just finishing up, I am busy trying to put up a pool, make a new garden, create some relaxing places in the yard, and remodel around the house. Oh yeah, and plan a fun vacation.
We are going to a 3 day Christian music festival at the end of June in Michagan with the Michagan Barkey's. We bought a pop up camper and plan to camp the whole week long trip. We'll be spending a day at Michagan Adventures ( a theme park) and the shores of lake Michagan.
So with this....... I think I will try to start blogging again. Just for myself if anything.

I am so happy you posted! you need to send me and E mail and tell me how your mom is doing. I miss her! The kids sound great and smart and happy. Has Morgan got he girls chasing him yet? Our KayLee and Jake start Spanish Emersion Kindergarten in September, because it is spanish it will go all day. Jake should do fine, I worry about KayLee. Nathan will be in the 5th grade like your Nathan and he has been in Spanish emersion since Kindergarten.

We have our share of troubles, we are in our 3rd year of Tim having no job. We think it is his age thath is making it hard to get interviews... I am seeking SS disability but it is a long process and I understand most applicants get refused. Everything seems hard and I am weary. How ar ethe brothers and Jodee doing? Keep up on the blog... it makes me so happy to hear what your family is up to. Tell Will he is doing a good job taking care of you all. xo jane
